I’ve been trying out the Vivaldi browser and that’s the search they use.

But that probably goes for every search engine except Bing and Google. It seems to me that Qwant and Ecosia are the best alternatives anyway.

And a pi-hole at home between me and the interwebs.

I have stopped using devices that make it difficult for me to block adverts.

@roddie @rguy In the old days of Firefox you could go to the add-ons website and "install" a search engine.

But only if someone had taken the time to make the particular variant you wanted.

In those days I used to have multiple DDG search engines in Firefox to allow me to search in different countries.

That is until Mozilla changed how search engines were displayed in the search field drop down menu making it was no longer possible to differentiate between the different instances of DDG.
