Some servers are now running the experimental version of Mastodon 5.0 on their websites. This overhauls the web interface and has moved and renamed some things (for example "Lists" are now called "Feeds").
The developers are still testing 5.0, so it may take some time for it to appear on your server's website.
You can give feedback about the new interface directly to the developers on their new Discourse forum at https://community.joinmastodon.org

p.s. You can read the Mastodon developers' official blog post about Mastodon 5.0 at https://blog.joinmastodon.org/2026/10/5.0-a-closer-look
p.p.s. This doesn't affect app store apps directly, they have separate developers. The interface changes affect people who use their server's official website or web app.
p.p.p.s. The optional advanced multicolumn web interface is still included in 5.0.

“This overhauls the web interface and has moved and renamed some things (for example "Lists" are now called "Feeds").”
Why? What’s the real benefit? This reminds me of Microsoft changing their Office menus with every release. No point, and inconvenient to the user.

@FediTips As I tooted earlier, give us the option of continuing to use the old interface.
