To be clear, you can't transfer your posts if you move to another account. I've learned this the sad way.

If you follow the steps in the transfer guide above, the posts remain in existence on the old server and redirect people to your new account.

@FediTips thanks for your support. Do you have any source about how Mastodon works at all, how to interact with others, how to work with groups etc? Not from a tech point of view but more kind of "How to move to M when used to Facebook for years". I don't even understand why I would want to change a Mastodon Server.
