I'm at a point where I'm trying to remember downloading / saving any useful guides etc. I find, because unlike the habit I developed when search worked, these days I almost certainly won't be able to find my way back to that thing I used for a thing last year

@jwcph It is why I can’t seem to get away from Kagi. It just works and they have a Small Web lens to surface the websites advertisers don’t care about.

@jwcph Oh good, it's not just me!
About a year ago I realized I was spending a lot of time trying various suggested solutions to ordinary questions like "how do I flash chip-X?" I've always had excellent Google-fu, so I worried it was a failure of my brain to make relevant search queries, or to immediately identify which answers were the most promising. So I started taking more careful notes, and saving copies of the web pages that gave me usable answers.
Glad I'm not alone.
