I do just love the lack of self-awareness in this sentence, this conference talk is the exact answer to the opposite question. Plenty of people actively stay away from software that's "AI-native", so AI is clearly not the answer to making a desktop people would actively choose.

to „love me back“ - the thing i love (haha) about computers is that they can be (totally in theory, sometimes it happens actually in practice) deterministic without emotional baggage and all the complications it usually brings…

actually my love here is totally NOT unconditional but hard bound to the thing to work and not annoy or surprise me
