@jwcph I'm in the process of being onboarded as a volunteer sysadmin with the Inkscape project, and it takes time because they are all overwhelmed.

The main site has an uptime of around 20% lately - due to LLM crawlers.

@holsta @jwcph it’s so insane. I have been documenting this happening to websites and it’s bordering on being Ddos attacks with scraping as the cover story.

Steal/scrape their data, take down the original source by overwhelming their infrastructure and pushing major bills their way.
