    @stefan My teenage daughter told me recently that when her teacher tries to click an "AI summary" of something, her whole class yells at the teacher not to do it.

      Young adults’ excitement about artificial intelligence dropped, too, and nearly a third of respondents indicated that the technology made them feel angry."

      @stefan I feel like the fact that even the "more hopeful" time was 29%, which is less than even one third kind of says a lot... The fact that it's now less than a fifth speaks volumes though...

        @nazokiyoubinbou Yeah, this is very much in line with several other studies.

        "AI"/LLMs as a "brand" is toast. Just completely toxic.

          @nazokiyoubinbou @stefan and now, it's fallen before the approval rate of the US Congress, which is an honestly amazing feat

                        @stefan
                        My company pushed me to use A.I. but after some months of testing and usage... I have the feeling
                        * it is great for my dyslexia
                        * It pushed us to adopt a good mental process when drafting new ideas

                        But
                        * It is becoming the excuse to avoid new hiring
                        * My working days started to seems my lonely fight against the problems

                        So I understand and fully agree 🙂

                              @shannonkay Great! My kid tells me the same! Their whole class is like that. They tell their teachers that thex don't want to see that stuff. They also don't eat at or buy from places that have generated images on the menu/advertising, and they are very much against generated music.
