You can't add pictures to a poll. A workaround might be to add emoji for the options or to add the pictures in a reply, or to make the poll itself a reply to the pictures.

@FediTips That last option sounds feasible - this was asking for opinions on photographs, so emoji aren't an option!

If you do that, make sure to mention in the poll post and image post that people need to look at both posts

@FediTips unrelated to polling but… when I open mastodon app I immediately see posts. Then it scrolls away on us own. I am seldom able to find those same posts. What’s happening there ? Can I make it stop?

When you first open the official app it shows you posts from the accounts and tags you follow (your "Home" timeline).
It can take a few seconds for it to update the Home timeline, and in the meantime it shows you older posts. After it's updated, it skips up to the top to show you the latest stuff, scrolling away from the older stuff.
