• What are the variables that cause it?Your boosts may not appear in a follower's feed if they've recently seen the same boost from someone else. Is it possible that this has happened?
Your likes don't show up in anyone's feeds, they just tell the author of the post that you liked it.

@FediTips Hi, thanks. For the first point, IDK. I didn't check other ppl's feeds per se, but rather noticed my interactions often don't show up now.
And that's the mystery. So what happens is neither my boosts nor likes show up on the receiving end. I noticed it when I was the first to like (or boost) something and the OP's count stayed at zero. And I've been noticing it happening frequently since, starting about a week or so ago, off and on.

To be more precise, since I don't know what they actually see, it doesn't show my like (or boost) in the tally under their post, nor is my account shown in the list of those who liked or boosted. And this is a recent thing, happening intermittently, whether set to public or quiet public.
My admin was in touch and said the account looked fine, so I don't know what caused it.

I wouldn't pay attention to the tallies under posts, they aren't reliable and numbers aren't a priority on here anyway. Some instances hide numbers completely.
The important bit is if the other person sees it, because the like should federate to the person who wrote the post. If they say they can't see it, then something is broken.
