When I was doing my "media tour" after DOGE fired me in February 2025, the people interviewing me would always ask what I was worried about DOGE doing with all the data they were gaining access to at federal agencies.
I repeatedly warned that fascism requires enemies to survive, and trans people are one of the enemies for Trump Fascism, so it's inevitable that the data would eventually be used to go after trans people.
And here we are.

P.S. This will not stop at the Pentagon searching the medical records of people in the military.
Medicare and Medicaid have medical records on individuals.
The VA has medical records on individual veterans.
The State Department has records of gender marker changes on passports.
The forms for various federal programs ask people their gender.
Also state programs; cooperative states will hand over data willingly, and uncooperative states can be strong-armed.

P.P.S. All this because a bunch of people couldn't be bothered to get off their asses and vote, and a bunch more couldn't bring themselves to plug their noses and vote for a candidate they disliked who isn't an actual Nazi over one who is.
