@startrek #AllStarTrek #WatchParty #Meld It's so interesting that Suder shows real tenderness for Tuvok in this moment. Tuvok just tried to kill him but he calls for help and cradles Tuvok's unconscious body until help arrives. Fascinating.

Do you think Tuvok continue to visit Suder long after the events of this Meld episode? Janeway said she wanted to rehabilitate Suder. I assume some sort of counseling would be involved? I wonder if the EMH would do that. 🤔

@Phangurl Lon Suder was easily one of my favorite characters in Voyager.

Doesn’t hurt that I’m also a Brad Dourif fan, lol.

Suder does return and you question gets answered (if you haven't seen the rest of the series? Trying not to spoil anything if you haven't)

I think Suder is one of the best side characters in Voyager, hands down.

@Phangurl I think my favourite thing about Suder is that he *tries* to be good. In the past he had absolutely no support for his problem and bringing it up would likely have resulted in *less* support rather than more (due to ostracisation). So he found a way for his problem to be constructive in the Maquis. On Voyager, that outlet was gone and he couldn't adapt. But then he was given another path and he embraced it.

He's not an evil person, he just has personality defects that need support.

@Kalshann @startrek I can't remember off the top of my head. Thanks for checking. I've seen VOY so many times but have a terrible memory. I remember we see Suder again but can't remember the context. 😆

@StarkRG really good points. So he's a bit like Dexter.

@Phangurl Agreed. And honestly I was more than satisfied with the way they sent his character off.

Could’ve easily just had him in there for a single throwaway episode, but they did him so right.

It's an excellent episode, and this coming from a non-fan of Voyager! lol (I'm a Niner)
