Palestine is the area inhabited continuously for ~4000 years by indigenous Palestinians.
They comprised 90% of the popn when, in 1917, imperial Britain decided - without consulting them - to hand over much of their land to immigrant Jews from Europe.
The sovereign rights of indigenous Palestinians were ignored. And still are.
