Don't worry lolYeah, you know, funny timing… I was considering holding my nose and creating an account there just to have a presence so once in a while I could announce when I had new photos available for sale, even if it was just to direct people to mastodon or my website, but nah, fuck that.

Also, poke around in the settings a bit and you may notice some improvements since last time you were on Mastodon, especially if it's been a couple years.

What did I miss with bluesky? other then no interactions and tooting into the void?
Not only that, but the way admin and mods are treating trans people is reprehensible. Even big accounts (i.e., Parker Molloy) are getting dogpiled on and run off the platform.
I'm not officially quitting it, but I'm going to endeavor to be over here more often.

No judgment on your decision but numbers matter to this company. I would recommend deleting the account. unlink your domain first just in case you ever want to go back. And delete the account. Just my two cents.

ICE were approved an accountthey are noting who blocks them too
its like you're being policed in real-time, on social media, and if you're a vocal critic maybe you're found and disappeared

@Em0nM4stodon Wow. I have been off most other platforms since September, so I had no idea this was happening. This makes me want to delete my Bluesky account, I might as well, I think I have posted once in the last 4-5 months. No use for it anymore.

Well, there you go.Only just made a Bluesky account, thinking it would help me promote my books a little farther.
Felt kinda uncomfortable with it, to be honest, but saw it as an obligation.But nope. You gave me the perfect excuse to get and stay off.
Me and my 9 measly followers won't make that big of a difference, but I'm gone.Readers on the Fedi are better, anyway
@amPennyfeather if it makes you feel any better, I had 1100 followers on Bluesky but I was rarely posting there because of their weird algorithms. I’d get 1-2 interactions at best, it felt like skeeting into the void. The Fediverse is so much better and more human. I’ve built so many amazing friendships on here

I’d get 1-2 interactions at best, it felt like skeeting into the void. The Fediverse is so much better and more human. I’ve built so many amazing friendships on here
