I didn't see the exact posts you were referring to but so I may be wrong, but generally the idea of posting in response to someone is to produce a conversation, which many consider to be the goal of social medias.
@lienrag my friend, allow me to remark on two aspects of your post:
1) Not every post needs a response, and not every response is useful
2) “media” is already plural -
@jesuisatire Who do you think you are? Sit down and stop trying to kick people off of the platform. And in general, be better.
