@glyph @tante I am trying. That's part of the reason I reappeared. It is pretty dispiriting to realize that such an efficient mechanism for separating creators of all types from their own work is now just... everywhere. Inescapable.

@glyph @tante nothing online that isn't behind a password or a paywall is safe. It's part of the reason I haven't really felt like being on social media at all, honestly.

@tante @glyph I was concerned about that but I also didn't want any of the things I posted to be fed into Grok. I'm sure they did it anyway.

@tante I really miss Twitter sometimes, but just can't reconcile myself with what it's become. I deleted my whole account just to prevent myself from being tempted to pop back in and I'm glad I did. The old community there may still have some of the same people I really liked but every person that stays makes it easier for others to make the same choice.
