@gpshewan on a scale of annoyance from 1-10 the Danes are currently at 11.The parliament is so through the roof angry, the government is struggling to keep members from destroying US relations.On the radio you can hear politicians say things about the US government, which I should refrain from translating.

@saren @randahl I just found this story (in Danish) about it which approximately says that defense lawyers find that the rules are unclear in an age of SoMe and in grave need of updating and that this case makes it abundantly clear. "..the US could simply remotely turn off F-35s' advanced situational awareness capabilities", this is the ability I also mentioned to cut of the connections to radars, etc. which makes the F35 superior in combat. EU countries has those capabilities too, so they could replace it, but probably not in the quantities required, and it would take time to hack in. It's similar to Starlink in Ukraine; Eutelsat *can* replace it, but they don't have nearly the same coverage as Starlink.
