on physical level (layer 1, in case you are into OSI model and such) , there wont be any difference between the two -

the differences will become visible when you scale, when you organize larger numbers of sensors etc

Meshcore routing is a little bit better than Meshtastic (but still not good) - and here i m mostly repeating what more knowledgeable people say -

our current preference is mainly based on social momentum ... are there people & messages? #Meshcore wins (in DK)

I am setting up some #Meshcore
nodes today, to take a closer look.
A companion for my pocket,
a router for our lab (roof later).

I can see the maps, the nodes -
my main interest now is:
to hear if people are actually using it? as in, chatting? messaging?

While the Plants theme now will be different (it wont be about monitoring plants or such), plants always used to be a fave IoT item here at our lab -
have fond memories of forcing computer science students to water their pots

The main observations is that

there are many many infrastrcuture nodes - but noone using them for anything. it s just dead silent on the default channel (LongFast). I might be missing something ...

I wouldnt say that this is in favor of Meshcore - i guess the situation is the same there (?):

Might the main finding be that - today - noone needs lora mesh?

- added a flashcard program which can help with memorizing stuff.
