@FediTips I have never even seen the official mastodon app. I found one third party app for my phone, a different one for my Linux laptop, and another one for my kindle readers. For the Android phone and the readers, I used fdroid to find them. On Linux, I found a couple of options in my (Manjaro) repos. It makes sense to use the client that will work that is easiest to find on your particular platform.
