I have never used OneDrive. Its sad little icon sits in my system tray with a sad line drawn through its sad, gray outline.

The very idea of me putting my data onto Microsoft's server is a laugh.

@jonsnow I remember back when onedrive first started (skydrive) they'd up your storage limit to 30G from 5 if you enabled sync for photos. Now you don't even get the poisoned carrot >.>

@greenpete @jonsnow @ReggieHere it’s easier to not change. The inertia of staying is higher than learning how to do all the Linux things.

IMHO it would take a widely accessible and cheap machine with Linux preinstalled along with basic programs that are windows equivalent to have people move over. Even then that’s friction, so people stay.

Your data, including the images, are the property of the companies to which you voluntarily provide them by using Windows or Chrome OS.

If you don't want this, you have to stay away from their products.
