The "divides the vote for X party" argument only works if you assume that the third party vote already belonged to one of the two major parties to begin with - and it doesn't.

@pascaline @benroyce also sports were gendered - boys had to play rugby, football and sometimes hockey. Only the girls could play tennis which I wanted to play. And I wasn't good at swimming - again I was abandoned cos I didn't progress fast enough and left to the shallow end.

I mean; it can be fun and I actually like it, but I really would have loved doing something the boys did. Somehow, FIFA is completely missed the fact that the World Cup in the United States poses a material health risk to anyone outside of the United States wanting to view it. And that toy prize they gave to Trump that didn’t help that did not help.

@pascaline @benroyce I struggle to sew now because it was so gendered in school. I'd rather they taught ALL of us to knit and sew....but we did a little sampler work once but it wasm't a thing.
Also being 'knot blind' doesn't help. It's not exactly dyspraxia but something like that, I can't tie knots at all, ties are a problem.
