@sheepfilms baguettes already move. They're parasites, they wait and hitchhike in the hands, arms or bags of unsuspecting humans. Granted, most are later consumed by said humans or their relatives or friends, but if even a tiny piece of it survives, it can reach adult form: a rock like spongy structure. The transition usually takes less than a day.

Unluckily not much is known about their adult life or reproduction habits because people throw them to the birds or away.

Before you answer 3 - I made 3 more baguettes that don't distort 🙂(plus a snake one because I felt like it)

@sheepfilms I was tempted to say 3/5, but I'm going with 6. Rolling would eventually damage the crust on top, and when rolling up to something there's no guarantee that you end up flat side down, leaving it potentially unbalanced. 6 solves all those issues.

@sheepfilms In the real world probably 5. In the cartoon world it would probably be 6, because who doesn't want a happily jaunting baguette?
In the eldritch horror world, 1.

@sheepfilms @dlx #3 is the only possible way to move, all others could only be performed if it is not fresh

@sheepfilms If it was a lovely light crunchy French baguette, it’d fly gently through the air. However a British supermarket baguette would probably smash those elegant black tiles whatever method of locomotion it attempted.

@sheepfilms definitely 7 ; as a french man i know that a baguette cannot bend without losing bits of crust, and a crust is part of the identity of a baguette, so it had to be 3 🧐

But given the alternatives, 7 is more really more like it. Give it arms and a mouth to whistle, and it will go to the bakery, fetch a tiny baguette for breakfast and bring it home by holding it under its arm, because this is the way 👌

@sheepfilms 2, naturally, as the origin of the name "Bah-Ghett" stems from the sound its two legs make as it runs.

@sheepfilms 1, it is natural to the inner structure of the baguette, and can be done with minimal tearing
