First, @libreoffice is much more than a text editor.
Second, it's not just that we do not need AI in an office suite. We actively do not want a third party to rummage through my private documents.

@markwyner @libreoffice 1M downloads for MS OfficePay365-24-7 might be a rounding error.... But 1M *new* downloads for an alternative office suite that does NOT spend BILLIONS in advertisement and does NOT have locked dependent entities the size of US Govt is kind of a big deal.

Plus, those 1M new users usually never go back to MS stuff.
