@FediTips Friendica defaults to not having post length limits. I'm curious why there are no Friendica servers listed.

I think the list is just very masto-centric. I think I saw two other softwares (one misskey and one GoTo.social).

You could argue same for write.freely for example, for diaspora* or Hubzilla (if AP is no requirement) and I am not sure about lemmy all the other software which is not microblogging (maybe I'll check some…)

The pixelfed instance I use allowes 5000 characters for postings.
I tried peertube and found no limit.

My mobilizon account was dropped, I did not test other software so far.
