Last long run before the WRRC half marathon in 7 days.
I was tired after the run, even though I pushed a few times hitting 5:30/km pace, it wasn't for long and the average was 6:30/km (incl a few full stops at crossings).
So, I'll just see if I can manage to get through the run without too much trouble I think, and with a plan to not push myself. Just getting to the 21.1 Mark will be good enough

It will be glorious! No matter the time, racing 21.1k is quite an achievement. I'm sure you can do it, and that you should be proud of it afterwards.
"The race is long, but in the end it is only with yourself."
Hope to see you in the Runners' Area before the race.

Thanks Aske! 🤩
I'm getting all sorts of running advice, here are some from distancerunning.dk
- Visualise your race
- Look at the route
- Imagine your goal
- Rehearse your plan
- Imagine how you will react when it gets toughAnd then I'll need a fueling plan, but that'll be based partly on the placement of the refreshment stations

Seems like there will be a fair amount of those:
