They should sign up for W. I'm surely not saying this is the right answer but if #mastodon is so far more superior, why weren't there more efforts past two years to make it really sustainable. Relying on goodwilling citizens time, effort and money to keep up instances, is not the answer. By doing so, unfortunately, it's doomed to stay on the side, because you know, none of the people I know are here too. The #EU ís, by the way.
