Israel dictates everything that they can and can't do and they change that up all the time. There is no two state. It's only Israel and the forever shrinking Israeli occupied apartheid state.

I still think that there are some people there that don't support taking more spaces and then there are those who are so loud and hateful who get all the attention. I believe that the right to free speech is a big thing in the US.

That would put this disgraceful situation and the genocide in Gaza back in the spotlight at repeated intervals as the court cases progressed.

@Uair it’s heckin complicated. A lot of non-Jewish people don’t understand that Israel is separate from Judaism. I’ve had to explain to very good pals that I didn’t have any connection to or sympathy for Israel, that my Judaism was entirely disconnected from Israel. That branding campaign has been extremely successful and problematic because they aren’t one & the same. @benroyce @lordkhan @randahl @FrancoisPrague

the way i understand that incident is he used a random disguise, in his words, and he apologized for the confusion of appearing to be antisemitic

now you could take him at his word

or insist he was an antisemite and a liar

either way, his statement on antisemitism two days ago shows a clear understanding of what antisemitism is, and that it is wrong

it's really the same thing:

a blood feud

in the balkans and the levant

an endless cycle of violence

"i'm going to kill you because your dad killed my dad because my grandfather killed your grandfather, etc, etc"

and like the 1990s, what stopped it was intervention

i feel the world has to intervene in the levant. the problem is getting the will to commit to that. it is a big ask. i don't see any other way
