    @benroyce

    Isn't this also a downside risk? The Russian nuclear threat might be all they have left while they are backed into the corner.

    No matter how good it sounds that the Russian technological secrets are now revealed, I'm pretty sure the American/Allied governments would have already known most of that.

    Any nuclear strike by either side, will be a total horror, and massive catastrophe will ensue. There is no good outcome with that, and we are all pushing towards that eventuality.

    @NathanMurdock @benroyce Uh, have we forgotten that Russia is the aggressor who can call it quits and go back to not attacking a sovereign nation unprovoked at any point? Nobody's backing them into any corners here. You're giving some real, "But what was Ukraine wearing when it was raped?" energy with this comment.

      #Military secrets are fiercely guarded for obvious reasons. But also obviously in a #war your enemy gets a lot of exposure to the operating parameters, capabilities, and weaknesses of your #technology. And gets plenty of physical samples

      So #Ukraine just open sourced all of #Russia's military secrets 😆

      Well not strictly, it's only for allies

      And a knock-on effect is it devalues Russian arms sales because potential buyers know it's all exposed

      It's called #TrophyLab

            @NathanMurdock

            how does a people defending themselves from malice bear any sort of responsibility for that malice

            yes indeed russia could be insane enough to nuke

            and?

            it is our job to meekly submit to russia or we are responsible for what russia alone chooses to do? you believe in some sort of insane lie that because we do not submit, that anything after that that *russia* decides to do, is somehow our fault?

            why are you so fucking weak?

                      PS:

                      I hadn't seen the site, thanks for the link. The sign up process is kind of funny. I can see them being inundated with requests from 14 year olds. We would suppose the access request process would be more discreet

                      But then again the real value of the site is in trolling Russia as loudly and publicly as possible. So the requests from teenagers is an acceptable cost, or even completely ignored. I don't think the French Govt for example will have to fill out this form

                              @NathanMurdock @benroyce all Russia has to do is turn around and go home. Live in their own country as recognized by international law (that means leaving Crimea as well). And all of this stops. They are not backed into a corner. They are the ones attacking. And we have nukes, too (nobody will use one).

                                I think it's possible Russia could use a nuke

                                But the real issue is how we respond to that threat

                                If we freak out and give into demands that means we reward such behavior. Thus there will be more nuke threats (and more countries making them) thus increasing the chances of nuke use

                                The only valid response to a nuke threat is assurances that Moscow and St Petersburg will cease to exist if they use a nuke

                                This response alone delivers the smallest chance of nuke use

                                      @FrancoisPrague donkeys are so fiercely loyal, they deserve far better than conscription in this Kremlin madness

                                        #UkraineWar

                                        @benroyce yeah, that's how #ModernWarfare works.

                                        - Plus it's no big secret that in "The great #TankHarvest of 2022" #Ukraine did get their hands on comolete & intact #T95M2 tanks and I'd vonsider @bnd "criminally incompetent" if tjey didn't bought one for #WTD91 to disassemble and reverse-engineer.
