If a baguette could move, how would it move?

If a baguette could move, how would it move? Give your reasoning pls.
(this is an old GIF from the archive, posting it here finally)@sheepfilms I'm a fan of #2 galloping grain
#8 sourdough snek sparks joy also
-
Before you answer 3 - I made 3 more baguettes that don't distort
(plus a snake one because I felt like it) -

7, Obviously. It needs to move intact, otherwise there would be crumbs all over the place. And 7 is the right way to walk as a refined gentleman would, because a baguette is elegant not riffraff. -

@bimmer Thank you, you basically picked my two personal favourites

-
@KeefJudge apologies!
Seriously! Baguettes 1 and 8 are a special form of nightmare fuel I didn’t know I didn’t want until just now.

@fds agreed, it's probably what I'd call the most realistic. But is there much fun in realism?

(this is an old GIF from the archive, posting it here finally)Freshly baked: 4
A nice crusty baguette, when cooled: 3 with the option of rolling on it's side as well.

No self-respecting baguette would destroy its delicious crust with all that bending.I vote 6. Seems the most French.

(this is an old GIF from the archive, posting it here finally)@sheepfilms 1. Don't know why. It just seems right.

@sheepfilms if you ever do more, can I suggest -
corkscrewing through the air like a propeller
and
flapping like wings? -

@Giamedin @sheepfilms @KeefJudge
1 and 8 are my favorites but I don't disagree they are also nightmares. -

(this is an old GIF from the archive, posting it here finally)@sheepfilms baguettes already move. They're parasites, they wait and hitchhike in the hands, arms or bags of unsuspecting humans. Granted, most are later consumed by said humans or their relatives or friends, but if even a tiny piece of it survives, it can reach adult form: a rock like spongy structure. The transition usually takes less than a day.
Unluckily not much is known about their adult life or reproduction habits because people throw them to the birds or away.
