I had a great race yesterday in Copenhagen. I concentrated on running a controlled race, and it really paid off. I held a steady pace through the first 15k, then started gradually increasing. I ended with an average pace that was about as good as I could have hoped for, but I felt much better than they I would have if I had tried to hold that pace from the beginning. I think I ran faster by starting slower. #running #runnersofmastodon #mastorundk
