I’m guessing there is no way to migrate my posts to a new instance? If not, I will likely not move my instance. Too much history here for me on mastodon.social.

If you move your account using the transfer guide (https://fedi.tips/transferring-your-mastodon-account-to-another-server/), the posts on the old account will not disappear. They continue existing but redirect people to your new account.
