@dwillanski That was attempted by various distributed networks, maybe most famously Scuttlebutt.However, the current structure of the internet apparently made this very difficult and they still had to use multiuser instances called "pubs" so people could discover others to follow.One of the most prominent Scuttlebutt projects was @manyver_se but it seems to be dormant now.

I needed people to describe to me what they saw, and the calls worked best when the people described just the relevant details.AI/LLM alt text is the equivalent of difficult tech support callers who tell you the colour of their computer's mouse but not what is on their screen.

@sourdoughstereo PeerTube is totally different on different servers. I've tried to make fedi.video as welcoming as possible.

p.s. I know a lot of people know about editing but posted because still seeing people unaware of the edit feature on here. This is possibly because other platforms don't have editing or restrict its use to elite members.Everyone can edit their posts on here, you don't need to be a special member of any kind.
