I believe that for an oligarch this is indeed considered a natural way to go.

Yeah. My pastor wife would have SO killed me if I had said that during her labor.
Very helpful. Thank you.
@Fragarach @ketmorco @RickiTarr
Also true.
@ketmorco @Fragarach @RickiTarr what a wonderfully Pratchett thing to say.
I don't know what it is about the English degree that has people always say that. I teach the corresponding field in Denmark, Danish, and as far as I can tell, my students end up using what I've taught them for the rest of their professional careers.
Thank you for the serious answer. Quite useful.
Witty, but hardly an answer.
Yeah, that was my best bid too, but to a second language speaker it remains guesswork.
This is true. I am not sure it's cause for celebration, though.
Nope. Real life takes place at the university too.
Hey #MastoBrain.
Why is a university graduation ceremony sometimes called a commencement? What commences?

@Fragarach @RickiTarr Exactly!
Dane here. Never heard of it. I'll just tag in the Danish hashtags to see if anyone knows.
Oh you didn't.
It's a well-known historical fact that at least 10% of all men died during childbirth after having lectured their spouses about how the pain of labor was nothing compared to that time they hit their toe on that bar room stool.
Historical records show that coroners registered the deaths as either "natural causes" or "what the f... did they even expect would happen?"
It grieves me to hear it. I am, sadly, happy that you have little or no contact. Nothing good can come of that.
True that.
Given that Trump is a malignant narcissist it's quite certain that the injury he receives from Harris being justifiably critical of him IS an order of magnitude bigger than his pain at deporting someone wrongfully.
Yeah, I know, that's a sign of deep inhumanity. Yet, here we are.
Thank you sir. This colleague agrees 100%.
This is the strategy:
Electrify everything
Decarbonize electricity production
Improve storage
Save energy
Do all of the above at once. Don’t wait for the slowest boat to arrive.
Go for the big things first and foremost. Structural change wins the day.
There will be setbacks but keep going.
And one more, from @AJ_andrew69. Taken alone could be Felon47’s usual facetious stupidity. However, in context of everything else here … well … https://mastodon.social/@AJ_andrew69/114568696277398895
Another submission by @ProjectFearlessness
This time Rick Wilson from Project Lincoln. Very lucid.
