Definitely it has downsides. I think all technology does. I think there are lots of cognitive downsides regardless of controller. There are sociological downsides which are caused by the way billionaires are controlling the technology.,

@Longspeak we're on the same boat, but just to be sure I already prepared a self hosted stoat instance and a steam group (we're all gamers that have steam) that reflect the discord server. So if something happens it's really just an invite.

IMHO correcting the error where it occurs would be much better than your approach of redefining a well-defined & established medical term.Thus I'd suggest taking the definition ("a perception for which there is no verifiable external stimulus") and put it into context: The "AI" is talking clearly, but about non-existent stuff.
