Why wait 16 years? We should have it now. Yellow line clearly extends the most recent development.

@dev "the value of a company comes from the actual operations of a company, not from stock price gains" is a hell of a thing to have to teach serious investment people with literal children's cartoons

They really are dead upstairs, and they just move money back and forth like tides and moons. They don't even need to wake-up (sober-up) to succeed in banking, meaningless as they've made it all.
The offices and desks are just to make us think they have a purpose in it.

@heavyimage @steve @dev yes, this must be where I got the idea!

Like the article says, the best is when they start trying to explain and analyze purely abstract concepts. I remember reading one about “commander’s intent”. Not any specific commander’s intent, but the very idea of intent itself.

They are truly powerpointing at a level the rest of us cannot even comprehend.

@dev its interesting to see the robotics bubble also get acknowledged. Those humanoid robots in the illustration have no use case. Roboticists fear the next AI winter will also be a robotics winter. Non-humanoid robots are actually useful, so maybe they'll escape it.
