Why use the concept of "nation" when you mean states? It's an ideological construct to subsume a multitude of people under a common concept, in order to control people. A dangerous myth which takes effect only in so far as people believe in it. We shouldn't use it as if it was just a neutral descriptive notion.
Btw: Not all antifascists who have a german passport support Zionism.

However, all the linguistic nitpicking I’m seeing on this subject does feel rather on the nose when weighed against the gravity of a freaking live-streamed genocide that is being actively aided and abetted by our states and our nation-states. Of course “not all” anyone on anything. But you also cannot deny that Germany is fucked up in a very unique way on this issue.

@aral I wonder whether Germany’s decision is influenced by pressure from the United States or Israel, and, if so, what form that pressure might take. Germany is a major arms supplier to Israel, so it has a direct interest in resisting this case. It’s complicity especially continuing to supply weapon or failing to act to prevent genocide following the ICJ interim ruling is also certain. Its position may also reflect broader strategic concerns, including its relationship with Israel and security fears linked to Russia. Who knows.

and even if it were true (which is not); even if 10 armed people from hamas were hiding in a hospital, would you bomb an entire hospital with sick people, pregnant women, old people, kids? it's a war crime.

@oatmeal actually my passport doesn’t let me even go anywhere near Isreal, but Palestinians sometimes come here to study ( for islamic related schools) ( other than the fact that their militia is at least 80% founded by IRGC and they have relations here and the word could spread easily ) and I hear what they say, and I know the fact that Lot of them came here directly from isreal and they go back ti visit their families and they are totally ok living their normal lives

However, I'm an ardent warrior against the nations myth, because it's still so efficacious, after all the evil which it has already brought to humanity. I don't like to see people depicted by their nationality. I don't care, if Germany gets fucked up, it deserves to disappear from the map. I only care about the people living here.
