There are no pure capitalist ones either. They are all blends. Intelligent participation adjusts the blend for the better. A whole lot more are manipulated into voting against their own interests, and another majority don't understand that, in a democracy, nobody gets everything thery want, so they stay home and bitch instead of doing the work.

Often such countries are like a couple who constantly argue but defer getting divorced by having more children.
This keeps them from having to confront the fact that they should never have got together in the first place.
All that remains holding them together is a mutual dislike of their neighbours.
