Yes, a lot of open source software is kinda shitty. It’s made by often small teams of people, sometimes as a hobby, with super limited resources. As a whole, we struggle with things like UX and accessibility. But goddamn can we get some fuckin solidarity in the chat please?

Its funding comes from Venture Capital firms who expect a massive return.These are major red flags.The claim by BSky to be decentralised isn't true, they say it MIGHT be decentralised in the future. And the form of decentralisation they've chosen heavily favours corporations running the infrastructure.There is no community ownership in BSky.
