@blogdiva and when cultures socialize males to think that emotions are frivolous, or that emotion based skills/depth somehow diminishes “manliness", the culture helps to create that indifference. It helps to create folks so unskilled around emotions that can’t tell their own real motivations from a hole in the ground. So clueless they’ll buy any bs a successful looking dude tells them -because- they can be more easily psychologically manipulated (to use your own words from another post)

@F3715H @KrissyKat - and these are the absolutely worst kind; it's one thing to pull up the ladder after yourself if you found a way to get rich or maintain better health, but these people climbed up the ladder with a crowd of bigoted assholes who are 100% certain to kick them out the window first chance they get; whatever they think they achieved it's temporary. They're selfish, they're stupid & they're category traitors.

@david I've been using Vultr for almost a decade, and am mostly happy with them. I haven't audited them for fascism-adjacency, however. It would be a major pain to migrate because of the mail server IP reputation I built on it.

@Stagen I wonder as well - but that thought is also a source of encouragement; apparently humanity has always had an asshole problem, and yet we've still managed considerable progress... if hoping was hopeless, the assholes would have won a long time ago.
